Middleburg Communities have many different partnerships at their properties but one of the most impactful ones is with Open Doors Atlanta. Open Doors is a community partnership committed to finding homes for people who need affordable housing so they never experience homelessness again. By placing carefully screened families and individuals into available apartments across metro Atlanta, the partnership is reducing both the number of homeless and the costs to house them. Middleburg has stepped up to the plate by waiving application fees, credit checks & other fees that other management companies charge and check for which would make it hard for the clients of Open Doors to find housing.

Over the last few years Middleburg has housed over 30 families. These families have enjoyed stable, affordable & comfortable housing. Recently in an interview with a client she stated "I really like it here at Bouldercrest. The staff has been very friendly and I love my apartment. I feel safe, I have a roof over my head and I don't have to worry about anything. I have nothing bad to say and I appreciate Middleburg and Open Doors for helping me."
