In his role, Mr. Koebel is responsible for the creation and execution of development opportunities in North Carolina. Mr. Koebel has more than 10 years of multifamily development experience and has been responsible for the development of more than 5,000 units representing a cumulative development cost exceeding $1.25 billion.
Prior to joining Middleburg, Mr. Koebel spent 5 years at Aspen Heights Partners leading Aspen’s development activities for student housing in the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast as well as conventional multifamily in North Carolina. Mr. Koebel, has also served in a leading development role, and earned valuable experience on the construction teams for various homebuilders.
Mr. Koebel holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University as well as an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
