Anna Valencia leads the Strategic Initiatives efforts for Middleburg Communities, based in Virginia. In her role, Anna is responsible for standardizing products and processes across Construction and Development to create efficiencies and cost savings throughout a project lifecycle. Anna also manages accessibility compliance and sustainability efforts for the portfolio. She works closely with many of the functional departments including Development, Construction, Asset Management, and Property Management.
Anna brings many years of experience and knowledge in the multi-family development field. Before joining Middleburg, Anna spent 6 years at AvalonBay Communities, where she managed design and quality standardization, accessibility compliance and design-related sustainability efforts.
Anna holds a bachelor's degree from American University in both International and Environmental Studies, holds a LEED Green Associate accreditation and is a Fitwel Ambassador. As a Fitwel Ambassador, Ms. Robinson achieved the first Fitwel Multi-Family project certification in Washington, D.C., with an additional 2 project certifications under her leadership.
