In his role, Mr. Kapinos is responsible for researching, sourcing, and underwriting new development opportunities for Middleburg Communities. These responsibilities include analysis, preparing site selection materials, market research, and providing support as needed throughout the acquisition cycle.
Before joining Middleburg Communities, Mr. Kapinos was an Investment Sales Associate with Marcus & Millichap where he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers and NNN lease assets. Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Kapinos was an analyst for Blue Ridge Asset Management, an innovative investment company that operates a series of funds investing in both residential and commercial real estate.
Mr. Kapinos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management and Real Estate, with a minor in Accounting, from Clemson University. Mr. Kapinos is also a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of South Carolina.
