In his role, Mr. Placco is responsible for corporate and investment accounting operations in addition to the oversight of the day-to-day accounting functions of Middleburg Real Estate Partners, Middleburg Management, and MidHudson.
Prior to joining Middleburg, Mr. Placco was a senior manager at Federal Realty Investment Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust, where he had primary oversight of regional property accounting and real estate accounting. Prior to Federal Realty Investment Trust, Mr. Placco was a Manager in CohnReznick's commercial real estate assurance practice and held various roles during his tenure.
Mr. Placco obtained a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Virginia University. Mr. Placco is a certified public accountant.
